Our belief is that wine should be delicious and representative of its appellation of origin.
We make wines to drink — inviting wines that we and our friends (and by extension, our customers) truly enjoy.
The model for all of our wines is intensity without excess weight, purity, persistence and length.
We source fruit from a handful of dedicated growers and a dozen vineyard blocks.
Our growers provide us with continuity of high quality fruit, and we pay them fairly and reliably, in vintages of scarcity and excess.
In an era of corporate grape contracts, our long-term agreements consist simply of mutual high regard and a handshake. We make Cabernet Sauvignon from select vineyards in the Napa Valley. Our Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah come from the Sonoma Coast appellation. In 2005, we produced very small quantities of Napa Valley Chardonnay, Mendocino Sauvignon Blanc and Sonoma Coast Rosé of Syrah.
Chardonnay. We love intensely fruited Chardonnay from cool-climate California vineyards with lemony notes, minerality and minimal evidence of oak.
Pinot Noir. Our young Pinot Noirs have seductive aromatics, both dark and red fruits, earthiness and, sometimes, that rare and wonderful orange peel quality.
Syrah. Every year our grapes yield a wonderfully intense blue-black color, and a wine that really has grip.
Cabernet Sauvignon. Our Cabernet Sauvignon must smell like it comes from the Napa Valley – ripe but not overly ripe, rich, fruity and full.
We carefully monitor the annual growing cycle and fruit development through to harvest. Our wines are made to be be accessible in youth, display ample fruit and be well-balanced from the first impression through to the finish.
Informed, satisfied customers are our greatest asset. We offer passion, integrity and accountability. We pay attention, take nothing for granted and always call people back.
If you are not completely satisfied, please contact us for an exchange. Our wines are unconditionally guaranteed by Proprietors Spencer Graham and Elizabeth Pressler.
